Base Leader

My name is Mihretu Kaleb. I am from Jinka, the southern part of Ethiopia. I love worshiping God and leading worship. I did my DTS in 2018 in Addis Ababa, and I joined staff 2019. My responsibilities include leading worship, kids’ ministry, and bringing unity to our team. My favorite food is special pizza and kitfo, and I also like playing guitar. God put it in my heart to reach the people of India, France, and Egypt.

ስሜ ምህረቱ ካሌብ ይባላል የመጣሁት ከደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ጅንካ ሀተማ ነው። እግዚአብሔርን ማምለክ እና መዝሙር መምራት ያስደስተኛል። የደቀመዛሙርትነት ትምህርት የተማርኩት አዲስ አበባ በ 2010 እ.ኢ.አ ሲሆን በቀጣዮ አመትም በእስታፍነት ተቀላቀልኩ። የአምልኮ መምራት፣ የህፃናት አገልግሎት እና ሕብረቱ የተጠናከረ እንድሆን መምራት የአገልግሎት ድርሻዎቼ ናቸው። የምወደዉ ምግብ ሸክላ ጥብስ ፒዛ ሲሆኑ ጊታር መጫወት በጣም እወዳለሁ። ወደፌት አላማዬ ከኢትዮጵያ ጀምሬ እስከ ምድር ዳርቻ ወንጌልን ማድረስ ሲሆን ህንድ:። ፌረንሳይ አእና ግብጽ በዋናነት የምደርሳቸዉ ሀገሮች ናቸዉ።

My name is Kelsey Moore, I am 23 years old, and I am from Atlanta, in the United States. Since I was 11 years old I’ve wanted to be a missionary in Ethiopia. I did my DTS at YWAM Perth in 2018, and School of Frontier Missions online, also through YWAM Perth, in 2020. I joined staff here at YWAM ELO in 2021. Here at the base I work in accounts and help run social media. I have a heart for Muslims and kids. One day I would love to live and minister in the Silt’e Zone of Ethiopia.

ስሜ ኬልሲ ይባላል 23 አመቴ ነው ። ከኣትላንታ አሜሪካ ነዉ የመጣሁት ፤ ከ 11 አመቴ ጀመሮ በሚሲዮናዊነት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መጥቼ የማገልገል ፍላጎት ነበረኝ። የደቀመዛሙርትነት ትምህርት በአውስርትራሊያ ፐርዝ ከተማ እ.ኢ.አ በ2011 ቀጥሎም School of Frontier Missions online through YWAM በ 2013 ተማርኩ። ከዛም በመቀጠል በ2013 አዲስ አበባ ኢትዮጵያ ከወጣትና ተልእኮው ስታፍ ሆኜ መስራት ጀመርኩኝ፣ የኔ ስራ ገንዘብ ያዥ ፣ ማህበር ሚድያ ፣የስራ መድብ አዘጋጅነት ነው። አኔ ሙስሊሞች እና ህፃናትን የማገልገል ልብ ጥር አለኝ ፤ አንድ ቀን ወደ ደቡባዊው ኢትዮጵያዊ ክፍል ወደ ስልጤ ዞን ሄጄ መኖር እና ማገልገል እችላለሁ ብዬ ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ ።

My name is Ebenezer Alemu. I was born and grew up in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. In 2021 I joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM ELO) in Addis Ababa, and did my Discipleship Training School. After I finished my DTS program, while I was praying and seeking the Lord, God spoke to me to serve with YWAM in full-time ministry. I decided to join full-time staff in 2022 to work with them and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is my future vision to serve and preach the gospel in Austria.

አቤኔዘር አለሙ እባላለሁ ተወልጄ ያደኩት በኢትዮጵያ ኦሮሚያ ክልል ውስጥ ነው። እንደ ኢሮፕያን አቆጣጠር በ 2021 ወጣትና ተልእኮ ወይም YWAM ተቀላቀልኩ የደቀመዛሙርት ስልጠናዬን ተማርኩ ከዛም በመቀጠል በጸሎት ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር የተወሰነ ጊዜያትን አሳለፍኩ በዛም ጊዜ ጌታ ከ YWAM ጋር እንዳገለግል ተናገረኝ እናም እንደ ኢሮፕያኖች አቆጣጠር በ 2022 ሙሉ ጊዜዬን በመስጠት ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስን በመስበክ አገልግሎቴን ጀምሬያለሁ. የወደፊት ህልሜም በ አዎስትሪያ ወንጌልን መስበክ ነው.

My name is Alazar Solomon. I am from Dire Dawa in East Ethiopia. I did my DTS in Addis Ababa in 2021, and I joined staff in 2022. My work on staff includes leading evangelism, hospitality and house person. God called me here to share his love for the nations and spread the Gospel for the unreached. God bless you. I love you as Christ loves you.

ስሜ አልአዛር ሰለሞን ይባላል። የመጣሁት በምስራቅ ኢትዮጵያ ከምትገኘው ከድሬዳዋ ከተማ ነው። የደቀመዝሙር ትምህርቴን 2022 እ.እ.አ ሲሆን በ2023 ደግሞ አአባልነት ተቀላቀልኩ። የስራ ድርሻዬ የወንጌል ስርጭት መሪ፣ የእንግዳ አቀባበል እና የቤት መሪ ነኝ። እግዚአብሔር እዚ የጠራኝ የእርሱን ፍቅር እንዳፍል እና ወንጌል ባልደረሰበት ቦታ መድረስ ነው ይህንንም በማድረግ ላይ እገኛለሁ። ተባረኩ እርሱ እንደወደዳችሁ እወዳችኋለሁ ።

I helped lead one DTS, and have recently rejoined the staff team. I love Jesus, and I love having fun. I enjoy creating vibes with music, and rap music specifically is my hobby. I have a dream to work with youth and young people to empower them and their future, and show them the love of Jesus that has changed my life.

አቤኔዘር እባላለሁ። ተወልጄ ያደኩት አዲስ አበባ ኢትዮጵያ ነው። በ2018 YWAM ELOን ተቀላቅያለሁ፣ እና የእኔን DTS ከጨረስኩ በኋላ፣ ሰራተኛውን ቡድን ተቀላቅያለሁ። አንድ DTS እንድመራ እድሉን በማግኘት አግዣለሁ፣ ከቆይታ ቡሀላ በድጋሚ በቅርቡ የሰራተኞች ቡድንን ተቀላቅያለሁ። ኢየሱስን እወደዋለሁ፣ እና መዝናናት እወዳለሁ። ከሙዚቃ ጋር ንዝረትን መፍጠር ያስደስተኛል፣ እና የራፕ ሙዚቃ ማድመጥ በተለይ የትርፍ ጊዜዬ ለዚሁ አላማ መጠቀም ያስደስተኛል። ወጣቶች ላይ የስራ እድል ላይ ለመስራት እና የወደፊት ሕይወታቸውን ለማበረታታት እና ሕይወቴን የለወጠውን የኢየሱስን ፍቅር ለማሳየት ከወጣቶች እና ከታዳጊዎች ጋር ህልም አለኝ።

Hi friends, my name is Abby. I am from the United States, and I did my DTS in Perth, Australia in 2018, with a focus towards injustice ministry. For a long time, God has been stirring my heart for long-term ministry and the nations of the world, and in the past couple of years He has been highlighting the Horn of Africa. I joined staff here at YWAM ELO in 2021, and I am so excited to see what Jesus has for Ethiopia. I am incredibly passionate about coffee, flowers, friendship, and fighting for people trapped in injustice. I hope to get to do ministry with at-risk women and teenagers in the future.

ታዲያስ ጓደኞች ስሜ አቢ ይባላል፡፡ አሜሪካዊት ነኝ እና እ.ኤ.አ. በ 2018 አውስትራሊያ ፐርዝ ውስጥ DTS ን ነው የሰራሁት በኢፍትሃዊነትን የመታገል አገልግሎት ላይ ያቶከረ ነበር ፡፡ ለረጅም ጊዜ ፣ እግዚአብሔር የረጅም ጊዜ አገልግሎት እና ለዓለም ህዝብ ልቤን ሲያነቃቃኝ፣ሲያነሳሳኝ ነበር ፣ እናም ባለፉት ዓመታት ውስጥ የአፍሪካን ቀንድ ጎላ አድርጎ ሲያሳየኝ ነበር፡፡ እ.ኤ.አ. በ 2021 እዚህ በ YWAM ELO ውስጥ የእስታፍ አባላቱን ተቀላቀልኩ ፣ እና ኢየሱስ ለኢትዮጵያ ያለውን አላማ ፣ ስራ ለመመልከት እጅግ ጓጉቻለው ፡፡ ለቡና ፣ ለአበቦች ፣ ለጓደኝነት እና በፍትሕ መጓደል ውስጥ ለተያዙ ሰዎች መታገል ላይ ከፍተኛ የሆነ ፍቅር አለኝ ፡፡ ለወደፊቱ ለአደጋ ተጋላጭ በሆኑ ሴቶች እና ታዳጊ ሴቶች ላይ በማቶኮር እንደማገለግል ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ ፡፡

My name is Samuel Yohanness. I am from Dire Dawa in Eastern Ethiopia. I did my DTS in Addis Ababa in 2018, and I joined staff 2019. My work on staff includes leading evangelism. My favorite food is meat and coffee. I love football and playing football. I also like preaching God’s word. My ministry focus is evangelism to the rich people in the Horn of Africa.

ስሜ ሳሙኤል ዮሃንስ ነው የመጣሁት ከምስራቅ ኢትዮጵያ ድሬደዋ ከተማ ነው። የደቀመዛሙርትነት ትምህርት የተማርኩት አዲስ አበባ በ 2010 እ.ኢ.አ ሲሆን በቀጣዮ አመትም በእስታፍነት ተቀላቀልኩ። የወንጌል ስርጭት አገልግሎት መሪ ነኝ፣ የኔ አገልግሎት ወንጌል ስርጭት ላልዳኑ ሰዎች በተለይ ምስራቅ አፍሪካ አፍሪካ ቀንድ ላሉ ሰዎች ነው። የምወደው ምግብ ጥብስ ስጋ ትኩስ ነገር እና ቡና ሲሆኑ ኳስ ማየትና መጫወት እወዳለሁ።
