Youth With A Mission (YWAM) was founded in 1960, by Loren Cunningham, with a focus on sending out young people to all nations, from all nations, united by a common purpose to know God and make Him known. YWAM Ethiopia Life Overflowing was and is founded in this vision to see Ethiopia and the surrounding nations come to know Jesus, and be discipled to go out and share Him with others.
Who We Are
This is the pioneering team! We are a fun, welcoming, bi-lingual community who loves Jesus. Even though we are a small team of missionaries, we have a big heart for Ethiopia and the nations. We mainly focus on serving the poor, the orphans, the homeless, the children and the unreached people groups here in Ethiopia. We run Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), evangelism, mercy ministry and sport ministry.
